omg anon thank you so so much for this. there are times when i'm staring at my porn/fics in general and just squinting and thinking "this sounds wrong but i can't put my finger on what is wrong". and i don't really have a beta per se, just a couple of good friends i ask to read over my fic, and most times they are not inclined to tear my fic to pieces (for which i am grateful, ngl). but if you could, are you able to give examples of where you think the dialogue sounds stilted and off? i am really bad at dirty talk >.> i like reading it, so i suppose that's why i like writing it too, but i'd be extremely grateful if you were able to point out where i went wrong so i can identify these problem areas!

oh, god, i can never pinpoint things either, so.

well, i think that in your latest pornstar!au fic, the section whilst in the elevator (and the talk in there) felt much more natural on both their parts than "Please, I need – it’s so good – " earlier and "You look so good, baby," Yesung rasps. "Fucking gorgeous. Fuck, if only all these people could see you like this. So perfect, so fucking good." in a different fic. I guess that it just feels like standard porno talk and that never comes across in real life, from experience, and it reads awkwardly (as well as making me secondhand embarassed lmao)
