okay, that makes sense to me. a lot of my past stories were more telling-based (like "this happened this way"), so the short sections kind of worked (because the scenes were short to begin with etc) but now i've kind of shifted to a THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW kind of thing, so i'm not really used to writing that kind of narration. so i'll go look for that in some of my wips! and orz i'm always proud of myself when i have a long section, so. :D

LMAO i still don't know exactly who you are so NO WORRIES /O/ my stories are like the strongest point so if they don't go according to plan, i end up losing track of them and then it just becomes really messy and disorienting, so i'm having a dilemma rn ;-;

i think i'd reply to that as, if i had all the characters developed, then it would probably again get really messy or detract from the focus of the main characters. but ANOTHER QUESTION OTL do you have a story (or stories, or fandom) in particular you can reference? :D
